The meticulously documented account of a walk from the source of the River Wye on Plynlimon Mountain, Central Wales to its mouth at Beachley, at the edge of the Forest of Dean near Chepstow, a distance of 157 miles (250 km). The plan was to do it over a period of 9 days.
